From Sunday evening 24/5- An intense cyclone due to pass by the IrrawadyDelta and it will be steered close to Myanmarcoast; strong winds andhigh surge expected to flood the delta - the condition will be worsenby the concurrent highest tide of the month)(though this cyclone is not a CAT4 equivalent- hurricane, but it is aslow moving intense cyclone, so more time to raise waves, keep surgelevel high at coast to keep flood water on land, longer duration ofstrong winds 25-30 kts

The Rangoon Capital will be hit by steady strong winds 30 kts (I went to the MO office after 2008 Cyclone Nargis; this time,similar damages by wind will recur)
